Defiance Cave Preserve is owned and managed by Mike and Donna Frazier of Colorado Springs, long-time members of the National Speleological Society. The Fraziers have been active in Colorado cave exploration and conservation for many years, bringing their passion and expertise to the preservation of these remarkable underground ecosystems.

Our Vision
Although years of thoughtless visitation heavily damaged Cave of the Clouds and its profuse dripstone and flowstone decorations, we believe that with proper care and ongoing restoration efforts, the cave can once again offer visitors an enjoyable and educational experience.
Our work stands as a testament to the importance of cave conservation and the dedication of the caving community to protect these irreplaceable natural wonders.
